On September 12th, Apple is set to unveil the latest addition to its lineup, the iPhone 15.

As expected, Apple's upcoming event is scheduled for September 12th, aligning with the circulating rumors. The company has issued invitations for the event, which will once again take place at its Apple Park headquarters in Cupertino.

The invitation showcases a graphic reminiscent of Thanos' snap from the Marvel series (spoiler alert), accompanied by the term "Wonderlust" [sic].

Anticipation centers around the iPhone 15, poised to take the spotlight during the event. Considering the significant impact the iPhone X had, it appears likely that this new iteration could bring substantial enhancements to the product line. Given the current market trends, injecting a much-needed sense of excitement could have a profound effect. Although perhaps not reaching the level of excitement generated by foldable devices, this unveiling still holds the promise of creating notable enthusiasm.

Addressing legislative matters, Apple has also recently thrown its support behind a right-to-repair bill progressing through California state legislation. This shift towards endorsing self-repair could potentially lead to the company highlighting the repairability of the upcoming iPhone. Such a departure from the company's historical stance would mark a considerable change, though history has shown that unexpected shifts can occur. Other rumored features include slimmer bezels and the incorporation of the Dynamic Island feature across the product line.

Likewise, the Apple Watch Series 9 is poised to be a highlight of the event. While rumors have been relatively scarce, reports have suggested the inclusion of the A15 Bionic chip, alongside a new addition in a pink color variant. Could a touch of Barbie-branding be on the horizon? Interestingly, pink is also mentioned among the colors planned for the iPhone 15, alongside new blue and gray options.

Concurrently, it's anticipated that the latest versions of iOS, macOS, and watchOS will be made publicly available around the same time. This event will also serve as Apple's second major opportunity to showcase the Vision Pro ahead of its early launch next year. Attendees can expect a deeper dive into the content arriving for the "spatial computing" headset, along with further insights into Apple's most significant endeavor in the past decade.
